PACE Global Strategies’ core team brings almost half a century of collective knowledge, contextual understanding and analytical capacity. We have worked across multiple regional and country settings including, but not limited, to sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern and Central Europe as well as Russia and Central Asia. Our country-specific engagement has been complemented with work on a range of thematic issues, including:
- Sustainable development and Agenda 2030
- Conflict prevention
- Human, children and minority rights
- Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus
- Democratic governance
- Natural resource management
- Refugees and migration
- Climate change resiliency
We understand the issues from the vantage points of different institutions as our expertise derives from work at a variety of multilateral, governmental and NGO entities. With an expansive roster of field-based contacts and collaborators supplements our expertise, PACE Global Strategies is well-placed to provide knowledge, evidence and analysis on an array of global topics and issues.
PACE Global Strategies is indeed global. We are able not only to tap into the knowledge and networks of others, but to also bring on external experts and consultants on short notice. We have a roster of some two dozen experts. More important than the size of our roster, is the varied backgrounds of our collaborators. As we put a premium on diversity and inclusion we work to ensure that our affiliated experts are largely field-based and come from the continents in which they themselves live and work, with a large number from the Global South. This allows PACE Global Strategies to draw on local and field-based insight to analyze regional, cross-border and sub-national political dynamics. Finally, we strive to maintain a gender balance in all aspects of our work and interaction with our partners.
